Before the first rays of sun touch the ground you’ll get up to travel to Iquitos. Around 8 am you’ll arrive at the vibrant and hot city of Iquitos. On arrival you will be taken to your lodge. If you like ecotourism, the forest and its mysteries, seeing exotic fauna and lush flora, then Iquitos is the place to be. Iquitos is also surrounded by the largest navigable river in the entire world, “The Amazon”. Iquitos’ historical foundation is uncertain, but it’s thought that it was founded by Spanish Jesuits in 1757 under the name “San Pedro de Napeanos”. Around Iquitos you’ll find a belt of green areas with an enormous diversity of animals that live in their natural habitat, you won’t find this in any other place in the world.
You’ll spot fishes and you’ll hear the humming of different kinds of birds this all wrapped in the majestic landscape of the colourful jungle.
